Full Professorship (W 3) for International Relations (Succession Prof. Dr. Jürgen Rüland)
Vollzeitstelle, Eintrittstermin: 01.10.2019
in the Department of Political Science.
The Department expects two of the following focuses of research: Peace and Conflict research, Cooperation in International Relations, Regionalism, Comparative Area Research with focus on the global south, International Political Economy and Global Governance.
Teaching should cover the whole range of international relations.
Experience with and interest in interdisciplinary joint research projects (SFB, GRK) are presupposed. It is expected that the newly selected professor will participate in the Global Studies Program (GSP) of the ALU.
Prerequisites for the employment of Professors are a university degree, an outstanding dissertation and an excellent publication record. Substantial achievements and experience in academic research and teaching, at the level of a Habilitation according to the German academic system, are expected.
